1. Go to File>New. Open a new file of about 500x200pixels with 300dpi. 

2. Change your background to any color except white. Select white as foreground, just press X if you are in the default foreground-background color. Select the Rounded Rectangle tool . Click the small arrow down option button and choose the Fixed Ratio. Set the Width to 350px and Height to 30px. Then click on the working area.

Rasterize the layer. In your Layer palette, right click on the layer name and choose Rasterize Layer.




4. Add texture. Go to Filter>Texture>Texturizer. Do the following settings: Click Ok when you are done.




5. Add shadow to the Shape layer. Click the Add Layer Style button at the bottom of the Layer palette and choose Drop Shadow. Do the following settings: Click OK when you are done.





6. Now, we will make a little hole looking on both sides of the shape layer. Set the background to black or just press D. Choose the Ellipse tool . Then on option under Fixed Ratio, set the Width to 50px and Height to 50px. Click on the working area and place it on the left end side of the Shape layer. Rasterize also this layer like what we did on the Shape layer. Name this layer as "hole1". Make sure that this layer is placed below the Shape layer.

Add Shadow and a little Bevel on hole layer. Do the following settings. Click OK when you are done.

8. Now we will duplicate this layer to be placed on the right end side of the Shape layer. With the hole layer selected, select the Move tool  and hold ALT key in your keyboard and point the mouse on the hole image and drag to duplicate. Name this as "hole2".
 



9. We will now add some shadow effect on the upper part of the Shape layer. Click the Create New layer button at the bottom of the layer palette. Name this layer as "shadow". Place it at the uppermost layer. Select the Brush tool . Choose the Soft Edge brush (Hardness = 0) with a brush size of 50. Set the Opacity to 60% with 100% Flow.





9.  Select the Eraser tool  from the tool palette erase the excess part of paint we have made in Step 8.





10. When you are done erasing, lower now the opacity to 10% to a brush size of 30. Then paint the top part of the Shape layer image.




11. You can now merge the layers except the background. Done. Hide the Background layer and save it as .png.





You can also make a longer frame holder, or make in different color or different texture or even make different shadow effect. Out of this single frame holder, you can make several forms like these:



To do this, just duplicate your single frame holder several times and transform it according to your desired form. So, why don't you try making your own.
